Champurrado is a chocolatey variety of atole — a category of traditional, corn-thickened Mexican hot drinks. Lisa's own rich, delicately cinnamon-spiced Champurrado recipe, highlights single-origin masa harina from our friends at Masienda.

Masienda's direct-sourced, two-ingredient masa (or ground, nixtamalized corn flour) is made from just sweet Mexican white corn, and  pure alkaline water. Its earthiness interplays beautifully with our subtly fruity 100% Costa Esmeraldas, Ecuador chocolate, yielding  a flavorful, ready-to-whisk Hot Chocolate Mix that celebrates traditions and terroir of the Americas.

A Reusable Bottle Designed by Remy Labesque

Nearly a decade ago, Remy Labesque (talented industrial designer and Dandelion friend) attended our Introduction to Chocolate class, and asked if there might be opportunities to collaborate. Over many months, he developed the concept for these corked glass bottles, and oversaw their production in Japan. We love how the bottles look in our kitchen — and hope you’ll find them to be functional, beautiful objects with many future uses.
