Our house made hot chocolate has been a café favorite since our earliest days, when we dreamed of concocting a perfect hot drink to ward off San Francisco’s perpetually foggy chill.

For this special collection, we created three distinctive hot chocolate mixes, using our fudgy 70% Camino Verde, Ecuador chocolate as a base; we hope you’ll taste, share, and compare all three. We suggest you begin with our classic House Hot Chocolate — it’s creamy, lightly sweet, and deeply chocolatey. For a bit of a spicy kick, Mission Hot Chocolate pays homage to our home in S.F.’s Mission District, a neighborhood known for its Mexican, Honduran, and El Salvadorean flavors. And for something unique, try our fragrant Hojicha Hot Chocolate: A staple in our Dandelion Chocolate Japan cafés, it’s crafted with a hint of lightly roasted Japanese green tea, and features subtle smoky notes and a smooth finish.

This set contains three 5.6-ounce bottles of hot chocolate mix (enough to make 12 servings).

A Reusable Bottle Designed by Remy Labesque

Nearly a decade ago, Remy Labesque (talented industrial designer and Dandelion friend) attended our Introduction to Chocolate class, and asked if there might be opportunities to collaborate. Over many months, he developed the concept for these corked glass bottles, and oversaw their production in Japan. We love how the bottles look in our kitchen — and hope you’ll find them to be functional, beautiful objects with many future uses.
